ABBA’s BACK

ABBA’s BACK is a live concert with more than 30 of ABBA’s greatest hits performed with sparkle and energy. ABBA’s BACK involve the audience from the very first beat to the final curtain. You are welcome to sing along with Agnetha*, Bjorn, Benny & Anni-Frid (Frida) and join in all the fun. The ABBA’s BACK concert has six performers with many costume changes and a song list that will include everybody’s favourites.

The performers of ABBA’s BACK bring a wealth of musical and entertaining experience to the stage, with it’s members having worked extensively in Party and Theme bands, cabaret, musical theatre and TV, both nationally and internationally. Our production crew can also boast extensive national and international experience including work in the UK and USA.

The ABBA's BACK journey started in 2005 with a meeting seasoned entertainers and musicians sharing a common passion for the delight brought to Australian audiences by the ABBA phenomenon. ABBA's back was never going to be just another band playing an ABBA set. From the outset the goals were set to recreate a premier concert experience including up to 30 ABBA songs. As well as ABBA being the central reference, ABBA's BACK has a modern edge and sophistication to the music. Going beyond ABBA's use of the Spector like "Wall of Sound", ABBA's BACK rich vocal harmonies and huge keyboard sounds are joined by soaring guitar lines all combined with sound technology from the current time.
